Drawing from the students previously submitted reference page, the argumentative research paper will argue for and defend;using logical reasoning and reliable researched evidence — a particular position about a research topic. The student should demonstrate an understanding of the difference between an opinion and an argument because persuasive research emphasizes logos over other kinds of rhetorical appeal. Each source must be used and correctly cited in-text using an example of at least one summary,paraphase, and quote. Sources can be found using Procon.org, iDebate.org, or allsides.com
