We watch the news today and there is a plethera of bad news. There is always someone that has gone on a random killing spree,
someone that has opened fire on innocent people, someone that committed murder on Facebook Live to a seemingly random victim,
someone that plows through a crowd of people with a semi, someone that bombs an area that is crowded, etc. You name it there is
always something going on. From a psychological perspective what do you think causes people to do these types of things? Are they
acting out? Does it have something to do with how they were raised? Do the actions stem from a traumatic experience? Do they suffer
from a mental disorder that isn’t being treated? Do they belong to a group that orders them to do these kinds of things? What as a
society can we do to help prevent these things from happening?
Do some research on the internet to gain a better understanding of the topic. Once you have gathered your research/information
carefully prepare a 1-2 page paper answering the questions above. The paper should be well organized and grammatically correct.
