Scavenger Hunt!
Locate and photograph at least 5 of the following architectural styles: post-and-lintel, Greek column (and identify: Doric, ionic, or Corinthian), pyramid, ziggurat, Roman arch (or dome or tunnel), Gothic style (pointed arch, flying buttress, ribbed vaulting), Bauhaus/international, prairie/organic/Wright, post-modern, or something completely different. Styles may not be repeated.
Please create a PowerPoint or copy and paste images into Word. No paper is required; however, please give me the name (or description; i.e., Bank of America building), architectural style, and location for each picture.
The photographs need to be your own. The idea of the hunt is to go out and discover these styles in your neighborhood, around your work place – around you! You may use vacation photos of places you have been, but please, do not Google any images or you will not receive credit for the assignment.
