Write a 6-8 page essay about colorism.
Structure and Focus:
Start with a clear introductory paragraph that summarizes the literature and presents your thesis.
Begin each paragraph with a topic sentence that states the point you will be making within the particular paragraph and transitions from the previous paragraph. Make sure each paragraph’s content relates back to the paper’s thesis.
Close each paragraph with a closing sentence that sums up the main point of the paragraph and suggests the next topic.
Include a concluding paragraph that sums up your essay and offers your thoughts on the issue.
Support and Documentation:
Include direct qutoes from the literature as well as from the outside sources that you introduce and comment on in order to explain how these quotes help support the claims you are making. Cite every quote and paraphrase taken from your sources by placing the last name of the author in parenthesis and including a Works Cited page at the end of your essay (not part of page/word count).
Clarity and Sophistication:
Proof-read your essay for grammatical errors and typos and flow of ideas. Edit your sentences to avoid wordiness. Be sure to vary your syntax and diction so that you are not using the same sentence structure or words repeatedly.
Please refer to outline attached to the order. Also, please include all sources in the essay. My professor is looking for each paragraph to be synthesized with more than one outside source.
If you think it will be easier to stick to the points made in this thesis please feel free to use the entire Intro paragraph. Just restructure it according to my professor feedback yellow would be first then blue then green see attachment.
