In this assignment, you will examine how the intersectionality of your social identity has shaped your personal and professional life. Consider the topics we have studied so far in this course as a way of determining the themes for your photo analysis. Support your thoughts and insights with the scholarly literature we have studied in the course. If you use images from the public domain, there are no copyright issues, but please add citations. If you want to go above and beyond, please create a social identity wheel. Demonstrates how valuable education and creating awareness is for educators, so that they can foster safe and inclusive learning environments
Examples to use: my professional life I work in mental health and addictions and see the marginalization of clients with mental illness, growing up I was rasied in a wealthy family (link this to privilege and how people assume you are spoiled and do not work for anything, but I actually did), talk about the struggle of being a white female compared to male counterparts, talk about Social Identity and Intersectionality Theory
