Please prepare the following and have it ready (2 printed copies) by the beginning of class on Thursday.
Write a full introduction for Essay 5
An introduction should include a strong opening strategy such as a quotation, a question, an interesting fact or statistic
It should also include some background information on the topic
It should end with your thesis
A good introduction should be between ½ and ¾ of a page (double-spaced)
You will also need to write an outline of the rest of the essay, made up of Topic sentences for each of the paragraphs you plan to write
