Do not hand in sections that have bullet points.

Your paper should be 5-7 full pages long in MLA format. A four and a half page paper does not count. You must fill each page completely.
Your paper should be primarily in your own words. You can use quotes when something has been said better than you could have said it, but you should limit your use of quotes in your paper. If you do use quotations, remember to include signal phrases to introduce the sources.
Your paper must be written in full sentences and paragraphs. Do not hand in sections that have bullet points. The paragraphs should be about five sentences long and begin with persuasive topic sentences.
You are welcome to use charts or graphs. These will not count toward your page count.
The Works Cited page should not include annotations. (This page also does not count towards your page count.)
You should have at least six outside sources (including one online source, one periodical and one book.) These sources, of course, should be appropriate for college level work.
Be sure to properly give credit to your sources through in-text citations when you paraphrase, summarize or quote the source.
