O demonstrating familiarity with sources in their organization and introduction within the paper

The overall goal of this assignment is to make a clear argument about what the future of your topic will be, using the thesis from the proposal OR a revised one after doing research. This should be based on your research from the annotated bibliography (project 2).
The purpose of this assignment is for students to demonstrate competency with the Student Learning Outcomes in the Syllabus by doing the following:
o Showing an understanding of how sources share ideas in common
o Demonstrating familiarity with sources in their organization and introduction within the paper
o Effectively using sources to support your argument in ways that show understanding of the whole source rather than cherrypicked quotes
o Using organization and transitions in order to smoothly guide readers through the paper.
o Having a clear and easily-identifiable goal that the essay is trying to accomplish
o Contributing something unique to the currently-established conversation.
