Turn in a short outline, idea cluster, and/or free write on a short story of your choice from weeks 2, 3, and 4.
Outlines can range anywhere from 50 to 350 words and can be copy-pasted in your discussion board post and/or attached as a PDF or DOCX file.
Note the ideal way to complete this discussion board is (a) completing a prewrite for the short story you’ll explore in your first essay, and (b) turning in a draft for your English 1A short assignment, preferably earlier in the week. The reasoning behind this: If you turn in a draft of your prewrite earlier in the week, you can receive feedback from your peers before submitting the short assignment. Since the English 205 d.b. only requires a minimum of 50 words, you can turn in your prewrite much earlier in the writing process (versus English 1A’s short assignment, which expects more from the prewrite with its 250-word requirement).
