The rough draft should be a fairly developed and complete argument; it should be at least 5-6 pages in length. You should have both in-text citations and a references page.
Argument Essay-Rough Draft Specifics:
– Rough Draft length should be at least 5-6 pages, double-spaced, using 12 point Times New Roman font as that conforms to APA style.
– Include an argumentative thesis statement with clear claim and reasons, effective and coherent organization, and arguments in support of the thesis that take into consideration audience and purpose.
– Evidence from research sources to develop a line of reasoning and prove your claim
– Observation of the conventions of Standard English
– Use of at least six sources.. Paraphrases and quotations from sources cited in-text and sources documented in an APA style References list
– Use of APA formatting style.
