Find an opinionated article that you disagree with. It may be on any subject: a social or political issue, diet or health advice, whether dogs are better pets than cats, or whether the old Star Wars movies were better than the new ones.
Make sure that the article is opinion and not a straightforward news story. many news outlets also include a link for their readers’ opinions such as The Richmond Times Dispatch’s Opinion page (Links to an external site.) and The New York Times Editorial Page . (Links to an external site.)
1.) Summarize the article. Do not point out why you disagree with the article or add any facts from other sources or your own knowledge. Quote at least one time from the article using quotation marks.
