For this essay assignment, we’ll be responding to some of the reading from Chapter 19, “Why Care About The Planet?”

Write an essay responding to Chen and Murthy with your own view of optimism versus pessimism in fighting climate change. In developing your essay, feel free to draw on and enter into conversation with other readings from Chapter 19 (p. 319).
