For the extra credit assignment you will write a 3 page essay analyzing a song of your choice.
Be sure to connect the song you choose to an overarching theme or social issue. Additionally,
make sure you have a clear thesis statement that drives your essay. While you are free to use
outside sources to back up your claims, it is not a requirement for this assignment.
This is worth up to 4 points on your final grade in the class.
