For this essay, you will pick a global issue i.e., one that affects multiple countries/regions around the world. You will outline the surrounding debates/discourses and make a well-informed argument in which you take a particular nuanced stance and attempt to persuade your audience that your point of view is valid. As this is a researched argument, you will argue using your sources as evidence. I expect at least five sources for this paper. Two of these sources must be academic.
