Review the document for Physical Education standards: California Preschool Learning Foundations Vol. 2. This document is extremely helpful in that the standards are broken down with examples to help you with activity ideas.
Review the National Standards by NASPE 2013 National Standards for Physical Education found in front of your textbook. In addition, each chapter discusses the National Standards that apply to the specific skills covered in each chapter.
Identify an age or grade level you would like to address. If you selected Preschool, connect the Preschool Learning Foundations for Physical Education Volume 2 with two or more National Standards you review in your textbook. Describe how these standards are connected and give examples of possible activities you might use to teach the age/grade level you selected.
If you selected K-2nd grade, describe examples of possible activities you might use to teach the age/grade level you selected.
Explain what the Guiding Documents say about the importance of including Physical Education in your daily curriculum. (2-pages requirement)
