In this portfolio, you will create a piece of informative or explanatory text. You will start by planning your writing. You will consider which words to use to make your point without being repetitive or overly wordy. You will revise your writing and edit it for grammar, punctuation, and spelling. You will use technology to produce a final product. Finally, you will look at your work and decide whether it suits your original purpose and audience. When you are done, you will have a solid piece of writing that should make you feel proud. You can apply what you learn here to much of the writing you do throughout your school and work career.
