My opinión is that Jessica Mañosa and her family should not be held liable and a party cover charge should not be the same thing as selling alcohol to minors.Question A) Should charging a cover charge to minors at a party to cover the cost of alcohol be the same thing as selling alcohol to minors? : No. Question B) Should parents be held legally responsible for their children’s behavior if their sons and daughters are between 18 and 21 and still live at home with the parents? : No they can’t control what they do. Question C) Will the California Supreme Court ruling be a strong deterrent to party hosts under 21? And/or will the court ruling affect how parents supervise their children? : No because teens will still do what they want regardless.
