1. What are you most proud of accomplishing this semester? Looking back at the goals that you set for yourself at the start of the term and maybe revised at midterm, on which goals did you make the most progress? Are there any goals that you didn’t manage to meet this semester? What factors impacted your ability to meet your goals?
2. Have you developed any new insights about your strengths and weaknesses as a reader, writer, or researcher? Did you discover any new talents or interests, did you confirm your earlier assessments, did you develop any new ability or confidence in assessing your own strengths and weaknesses?
3. Reading, writing, and researching are processes that develop over a long time frame, longer than our single semester. Are there skills you want to continue to work on, goals you want to set for yourself so that you can build on the progress that you’ve made this semester, and/or ways that you can apply what you’ve been working on this semester to your other studies?
I know it has been an incredibly challenging semester. I respect all the work you put in to make it to this point!
