Your end-of-semester portfolio must include four documents, all combined into one file:
1) an up-to-date resume, revised based on instructor and peer feedback (pay close attention to formatting and organization)
2) a revised version of your Project 1 cover letter, updated based on instructor and peer feedback
3) an revised version of your Project 2 essay, updated based on instructor and peer feedback (minimum 600 words) (this revision can include an explanation of revisions and updates you’ve made to your website)
4) a self-assessment essay reflecting on your growth as a writer and budding professional over the course of this semester – be sure to address the Learning Outcomes listed in the syllabus and your growth in those regards; you can also address the revisions you made to the earlier portions of the portfolio and the improvements you felt you’ve made to those documents (minimum 600 words)
Revision is a crucial part of the writing process – your grade for this portfolio will heavily depend on the substantialness and effectiveness of the revisions you make to the included elements.
